I Tried Arrae Clear Protein—and It’s Actually Helping Me Drink More Water

I am terrible about drinking enough water.

I know I should drink more. I start the day with good intentions. And then somehow it’s late afternoon and I realize I’ve barely made a dent in my water.

I’m also trying to be much more intentional about getting enough protein, so when I saw Arrae Clear Protein in Raspberry Yuzu, I was intrigued.

Protein + something that might actually make me drink my water? I ordered it.

And I really like it.

First: It Doesn't Feel Like a Protein Shake

This was probably the biggest selling point for me.

Sometimes I just don't want another thick, creamy protein shake—especially during the day.

Arrae Clear Protein is completely different. The Raspberry Yuzu flavor is light, fruity + refreshing, so it feels much more like flavored water than a traditional protein drink.

And the taste is genuinely good.

How I Drink It

This is where I've found it works especially well for me.

Rather than making one smaller drink and finishing it all at once, I divide mine between three large thermoses of water and drink them throughout the day.

It gives the water just enough flavor that I actually want to keep drinking it.

For me, that's been the unexpected benefit.

I'm not only finding another way to work protein into my day—it's helping me drink more water, too.

And as someone who is notoriously bad about hydration, that's a pretty big win.

Would I Buy It Again?

Yes.

I bought this myself, tried it and genuinely like it.

I wouldn't replace every protein source with a powder, but as an easy option to work into my day, this one makes sense for me. The fact that it also encourages me to drink more water is what will keep me using it.

If you're someone who wants more protein but doesn't always want a traditional shake—or you're like me and need a little encouragement to finish your water—this one is worth a try.
